PIXPAIL

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Short version: photos you use in Pixpail are turned into pixels on your device and are never uploaded. We have no accounts and no servers that receive your data. The app collects anonymous usage analytics and crash reports, and the ad networks may use your device's advertising identifier.

This policy describes how mef.space ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Pixpail mobile application ("the App").

Camera and photos

When you create a level from a photo, the App asks for access to the camera or to a photo you choose. The photo is cropped, scaled down and converted to a small pixel grid entirely on your device. The original photo and the resulting grid are not sent to us or to anyone else. The App does not browse your photo library and only sees the single photo you pick.

Data we collect

We do not ask for your name, email or any account. We collect anonymous usage events through Google Firebase Analytics, such as "level started", "level finished" and the grid size you chose, and crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics. These contain no photos and no personal information. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Advertising

Pixpail shows ads served by Appodeal and its partner networks. They may collect device information such as the device model, operating system version and advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) to show and measure ads. On iOS the App asks for permission before tracking. You can limit personalized ads at any time:

In-app purchase

The "Remove ads" purchase is processed by the App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment details. Your purchase status is stored on your device.

Data on your device

Your progress and settings are stored only on your device. Deleting the App deletes them.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
